শ্রীশ্রীঠাকুর অনুকূলচন্দ্রের পঞ্চনীতির মধ্যে একটা নীতি হচ্ছেসদাচার

রোগে প’ড়ে আরোগ্য হওয়ার চাইতে
প্রতিষেধ ঢের ভাল,
অর্থাৎ, রোগ যা’তে না হয়
তাই-ই করা ভাল,
তা’ শুধু রোগে নয়,
অকল্যাণকর যা’– কিছু তা’র বেলাতেও।

একজন প্রশ্ন করলেনঃ শরীর সুস্থ থাকলে বেশী খেলেও তো অনেকের ক্ষতি করে না, বেশ সহ্য হয়।

শ্রীশ্রীঠাকুরঃ যা’ প্রয়োজন তার চাইতে বেশী খেলেই তো তার চাপ আমাদের Stomach, Nerves, heart ( পেট, স্নায়ু, হৃদয়) ইত্যাদি বইতে হয়। কিন্তুু আপনি- আমি তো Sperm ও ova – র product ( শুক্র ও ডিম্বের ফল) – একটা limited energy ( সীমিত শক্তি) নিয়ে জন্মেছি, আর তাই নিয়ে চলেছি। এই life – potency ( জীবনীশক্তি) – কেই বলে আয়ু। এই আয়ু যদি অযথা অপব্যয় করি– এ তো ফুরাবেই, শরীর দুর্ব্বল হবেই– তা’ হয়তো বই পরে ঢের পাওয়া যায়। পঞ্চাশ বছর বয়সে শরীরের উপর অত্যাচার করা সত্ত্বেও হয়তো আপনার ক্ষতি করে না, ষাট বছর বয়সে আপনি হয়তো দেখবেন আশি বছরে আপনার শরীর যতখানি অপটু ও জীর্ণ হ’তো, তাই হ’য়ে গেছে।
